New Releases!!!

There were a lot of new releases this past week. I had a lot of fun playing with them. I work for some great designers!

I got the pleasure of working with the kit Brody by Danimoy Designs. It was released today. You can find it in all of her stores (Scrapbook Bytes, Scrappity Doo Dah, & Scrapbooks Gone Digital.) It's on sale at 40% off. I loved the grungy feel of the kit. It would be great for the boys in your life. I know I'm always searching for kits for boys.

Here are the 2 layouts I created with it. I love how this one turned out. I used the alpha that's included with the kit for the title work.
My oldest son has been feeling left out and with his help I created a layout for him.
Another new release for today was Gingerbread Dreams by Rainamoon Scraps. It would work well for Christmas or baking layouts. It's currently 50% off in her Stuff to Scrap store.
The gingerbread men are so cute. I couldn't resist using one in a layout.
I'm really proud of how the next one turned out. I'm really wanting to learn new stuff and I've admired the blocking that I see on a lot of layouts. So here's my attempt at it with no template.
The last kit, I just finished up my layouts today. It's the November Mega Collab at Enchanted Studio Scraps. If you spend $10 or more in the store, you get this free.
Here's the preview
Look at all of those elements! You also get glitter styles and an alpha.
This first layout I did for the color challenge.
I created this layout for the second font challenge this month.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and for those of you in the States, a Happy Thanksgiving.

ESS Layouts

I've been super busy all week--creating at least 2 layouts per day. But I'm enjoying it. I've got a few layouts to share from Enchanted Studio Scraps.
My first layouts are from one of the new designers there, Circle of Life Scraps. I chose to work with the kit Jubilee. It's got fun, vibrant colors. It's full of elements, 60 total and 12 papers.
(all previews are linked to the store)
The layouts I created with it are for challenges at ESS. They have lots of fun challenges each month so it's worth checking out. Plus you get points that you can redeem for coupons to the store.
This first layout is from the word art challenge, hosted by Kathy Winters Designs. What's better than free word art?
The next one is from the Designer's Choice challenge. We had to create a layout about what inspires us to scrap. I actually did journaling on this one! (See told you I was working on it :)

I got to use Sugar Pie Scraps new release Glittery Christmas. I love glitter! The colors are beautiful, it has the traditional reds and greens but has nice blues and browns. It's on sale now too.
Here's my layout for the Definition Challenge. The Special word art at the top was part of the challenge.
Here's my other layout. Don't you just love the flowers and the string of lights?
My free choice kit for this month was Krunch the Pirate by Polka Dot Chicks. I knew it would work well with some of my Disney pictures. I love the colors and the fun elements.
This layout I did for the first font challenge this month.
Here's my second layout which I just finished up today.
Enjoy your weekend!

New CT!!!

I was recently accepted to be a part of Dianne Rigdon's CT. I'm super excited to work with her and the other members of the CT.

I decided to work with one of her recent releases, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. This kit is absolutely gorgeous! Full of pink and blue pastels, it can be used for the little ones in your life or for memorial layouts.

Here's the memorial page I created with it for my grandfather in law
Don't go away I've got some Disney layouts to share!

Read All About It

My poor neglected blog this week. While I was on vacation, my mother in law had some health problems. They never determined what it was but her symptoms were similar to those of a stroke. Now she's in a continuing care center, learning how to write again, trying to remember things and relearning a bunch of other things. We visit her nightly but it's an hour drive round trip. It's been a lot to take in but definitely makes us thankful that she is still here with us. Between visiting her, creating layouts and staying on top of other CT requirements, my blog has been neglected this week. But I'm here with lots of layouts and tons of great products.

I'll start out with Danimoy Designs, Read All About It. Full of beautiful browns, yellow and black, this kit was designed for those who love to journal. I personally struggle with journaling so it's something I'm adding to my list of things to work on. It's on sale through the 21st.
