Winter Wonderland

I fell in love with the colors and the alpha in Winter Wonderland by Kathy Winters. The elements are so cute! This kit is great for your winter photos.

I will have another layout done with it shortly. We ended up with a snow day and took advantage of it. Bella had a wonderful time playing in the snow for the first time!

Dani continues to amaze me each week. This week she released a HUGE kit, perfect for any of you who are doing 52 or 365 challenges. I will end up using this kit over and over and plan on finishing out last year now that I've gotten one layout done. I may even do one for everyone in the house :)

Snow Much Fun

My4Princesses Designs released a super cute, super fun snow kit this Friday. I love the different colors than the standard snowy day kits. Plus it has the cutest penguins ever! It's 30% off for a short time so grab it soon!

Here's the preview. I love the black with the light blues with it. Makes for a very sharp layout!

Here are the two layouts I created with it. I tried an extraction for one of the first times and I think it turned out pretty good!

 This layout I used the font Pea Gabe for the font challenge over at ESS. They've completely redone their challenges and point system for the new year. Until I started at ESS, I never really tried challenges before but I'm loving them now! It gives me a chance to think outside my comfort zone, shows me new fonts I've never seen before and a great chance to grab some free mini kits each month while getting to know some really sweet people.

I worked with Mom2Moo Designs Flutter By kit. I LOVE the colors. It matched perfectly with the picture I chose.

The Flavor of the Month, And So It Begins, is gorgeous. It reminds me of spring and with this cold, snowy weather, I'll take anything that screams warmer weather. It will be a great addition to your stash of kits if you're doing any of the yearly projects.

Mel has been very busy lately and has produced some of the best kits ever! She must be just as ready for spring as I am based on her kits. They have had such fun colors and I feel better creating when using them, even if I look outside and it's snowing. It's currently 30% off.

The Beautiful Life is exclusive to Gotta Pixel. I love the orange, brown and green together. It could easily be used for spring or would be great for fall too.

Revitalize is a what I consider a "happy" kit, the colors make me feel happy. This kit can be used for a variety of layouts; boys, girls, love, summer. It's a must have! It's currently 40% off.

 

I really loved how my page turned out.

Awakening is a truly elegant kit and has the spring feel to it. Colors are beautiful and I love all of the flowers in the kit. This one is also 40% off.

I started out with one layout and then ended up with this one. It took me a while to get it all just right.

Finally, Mel released Fresh Start, part of the GAB for January. It has such fantastic pastels and unique elements. All parts of this kit are $1.00 each for a limited time. Go grab them up!

This ended up being one of my favorite layouts ever!

Rain Drops by danimoy designs

It's that time for Grab A Byte at SBB. This month was full of light pastels in blues, yellows, white and green. It was nice to work with spring type of kits especially when I look outside at all of the snow. Remember the pieces for the GAB are only $1.00 for a limited time.

Here's my layout with it. I realized I didn't have any playing in the rain or rainy day pictures so I went with the next best thing--summer! Now I know what I need to take pictures of :)

I spent the weekend over at MouseScrappers for their 2nd annual Speed Scrap weekend. Tons of fun! It was neat to get to talk to new people and get to know some I knew better. I got 14 layouts done of my Disney trip from November, which is awesome because it's kind of gone by the way side. I'll post those at some point. Right now, I've got to get caught up on some layouts.

Dani released some super cute Christmas kits this week, a boyish version and a girlish version. They are on sale so go grab them! She also has a mini kit that matches with the boy version but it can easily be used for any outdoor layouts. The elements are so adorable! I LOVE the colors. Enough rambling, I'll get to your previews so you can see for yourself :)

I worked with an older release of Roseytoes Designs called I'm So Pretty. I chose it because of the bright, fun colors. I decided to do a layout with my son in it even though boys aren't usually considered pretty but the colors matched so well :)

DSDI released a great Flavor of the Month kit for January. This would be great for anyone who's doing the P365 challenges or even the weekly ones. It also shouts spring time and with all of the snow around here, I enjoyed seeing the pastel pinks and greens.
